Police in Australia found a baby koala in a woman's backpack, and his name is Alfred
MEET ALFRED, AN adorable six-month-old koala from Brisbane, Australia.
Mypolice Mypolice
Alfred was discovered in unusual circumstances by police last night – after arresting a 50-year-old woman, officers asked if she had anything to declare.
It turns out she did: A baby koala she’d been carrying around in her backpack.

The woman told the officers that she had found the koala the night before and had been caring for it ever since.
The police called the RSPCA told the police that the koala was in good health, if a bit dehydrated:
Alfred!
I need dis. Mypolice Mypolice
The RSPCA say he will remain with them until they can find a permanent carer. N’yaww.
